Purchase: I bought this saddle used with light use for $1100 from a local consignment tack store. I know suggested retail is just over $2100, but you can find them on the internet for around $1300-$1500 new.
Likes: I LOVE how comfortable the seat is on this saddle. The stirrups come twisted from the manufacturer, so no ankle twist during the break in process! It fits my ULTRA wide Quarter Horse through his shoulders, which is a problem spot with most saddles I've tried on him. It fits through his shoulders better than the Crates 7" wide gullet reining saddles that flare out even! This saddle is also very pretty, and it oils nicely (comes very light brand new, but mine oiled to a nice deep color that I prefer). It has three-way rigging so that you can adjust it to whatever you want, not just the 7/8 rigging that most saddles come with.
Oh, and did I mention that it is SUPER comfortable?!?!?!?
Dislikes: Too long for my horse (Skirts are 29 1/2", way too big for most short backed reiners). Otherwise, I love it and have no complaints.
Quality: Seems of very good quality all throughout. Nice leather that is holding up with very hard, daily use.
Summary: Great saddle for the money. Will buy again!
