Purchase: I purchased my saddle used from a woman at my barn. I paid $1400 Canadian, to buy it new is $2472.00 Canadian. It is a 17" seat.
Likes: This saddle has a nice secure seat and I was impressed with the quality of the leather. It fit my narrow thoroughbred perfectly when I used the easy change gullet system from a wide to a regular. I also like the CAIR panels as my mare used to have a sore back and we haven't had that problem since purchasing this saddle. It fits my longer leg comfortably and is definitely the most comfortable saddle I have used.
Dislikes: There isn't really anything I can say that I dislike about this saddle except that I wish it didn't have the loop where you put your excess stirrup leather, I use the Wintec Webbers that don't require a keeper.
Quality: This is a beautifully constructed saddle. I have been riding in it every day for a few months now and it was used before I got it, yet it still looks brand new.
Summary: I feel I got a great deal for this saddle, it is expensive but definitely well worth it. I have recommended it to others who are searching for that perfect saddle. I know I will get many years years out of it, its a great investment.
