Purchase: I bought these boots at an amazing sale from a local tack shop. They were only $55, because they were the model that had no zipper. I bought them because of the price, and how nicely they fit my leg.
Likes: These boots were really comfortable, and they do their job well. I never had problems breaking them in or with blisters, as I had heard was expected with field boots. I think the shape and design of the boot is nice looking.
Dislikes: I have worn them for two years now and they have worn out quite a bit. In the stress points the boots have lost their black coloring and some of the seams have come undone. My main problem is that the boots have broken in so much that they have actually gotten too short on my leg. It's definitely time I got new boots.
Quality: The design is nice and they are made from real leather, just not the highest quality leather.
Summary: I think these boots are absolutely perfect for young riders who need reasonably priced field boots and that are attractive enough to take into the show ring. but don't expect them to last for too long.
