Purchase: I bought this helmet from Dover Saddlery for $65. What attracted me was the price and the dial, since I have a large head.
Likes: I like the dial system, and the inside satin.
Dislikes: I hate the shape of this helmet. I look like I'm ready for combat with this huge, chunky helmet. I feel ridiculous in it since it is so tall and round. The fit is also strange. I don't know anyone who has a head so round and circular that would actually fit in this helmet. I bought it over the internet and just followed the instructions, but I really wish I had tried it on! There is a lot of space between the sides of my head and the helmet. This doesn't seem safe to me.
Quality: Seems like it will last, I have fallen with this on and had no destruction.
Summary: Try this helmet on before you buy. It's not "low profile" and not worth the price.
