Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I bought this through a dealer in NY and paid around $1599 in 2004.
Likes: It's a beautiful saddle and I can't imagine any more comfort. It has the perfect cantle to pommel ratio in terms of flip and sits you perfectly. My horse died a year ago and I haven't been able to ride using it... it's sad all around.
Dislikes: Nothing I don't like about it, really.
Quality: Such amazing construction. So easy to clean and not chunky and fussy like some other dressage saddles. I believe this is "old style" dressage and I like it. I think some of the newer saddles are getting too over-engineered, personally.
Summary: The best saddle for the money you can buy or ride.
Usefulness Rating: 1.33333 out of 5.
