Purchase: I got the Eous blanket from Rockin Horse Tack and Supply. I was looking for a blanket or two for my soon to be body shaved arabians. I paid $110 for these beauties.

Likes: This blanket is a sturdy, well made product. I love the outer layer that is made up of a 1680 denier fabric. I can turn horses out in it and is takes a lot of abuse as far as other horses biting on it and fence rubbing. The fill on this blanket is 350 grams of fill. I have body shaved arabians and they do not get cold! The cut is also higher in the neck for more weather resistance. the shoulder gussets are cut higher than a weatherbetta, so the horse receives much more shoulder movement and a LESS rubbed out point of shoulder. All the straps are heavy duty and I have had no problems with them in two years. I would stress however, to get this blanket in your horses appropriate size so you and your horse can get ultimate satisfaction.

Dislikes: The only thing I didn't like on this product was where the rings were for a hood attachment around the wither. I would like to see them set further back on the blanket, so they can hold a hood in place instead of slipping forward.

Quality: Compared to a weatherbeeta and even a rambo blanket, I think this blanket is right in the running. I own all three types(I am a horsewear fanatic). The Rambo for as much as it is, has no hind leg straps and no fleece panel over the withers for added safety and comfort. The weatherbeeta's shoulder gussets are not in the right place and their claimed water resistant shell doesn't hold up after you wash it, the rubber-like lining falls off. The Eous blanket I can wash, and it keeps holding up every time to the rain and cold. Like I said before, they have heavy duty leg straps and the fleece wither guard.

Summary: Overall I have been very happy with this product. I hope the manufacturer keeps up the good work.
