Purchase: I wanted a fun and flashy new bridle for my gelding. I wanted something that resembled a dressage bridle, without the flash noseband. Black leather with a twist to it. I was searching on the internet when www.pinkequine.com came up. I searched the store and found what I liked. I just had to buy the bridle I found!! It cost $165 with a $30 shipping fee.
Likes: I love the colors and bling. The bridle I bought is black leather with royal blue padding (like the white on a dressage bridle) and capri blue Swarovski crystals in the browband. The blue's in both the padding and the crystals bring out beautiful shades of color in his fur. It doesn't rub or leave any die marks. I stuck a kimberwick on the bridle with some reins and he goes into a perfect frame. Better than with another bridle, it doesn't pinch his ears or head at all. He must have been getting a head ache from the cheap bridle I used on him before, he acts much better with the new one. I also liked the leather consistency, a nice soft flexible, expensive looking black leather. The store had sooooo many combinations of bridles. Yellow's, green's, blue's, pink's, red's and more. With or without a flash. You can also get just black, a color padding or just a Swarovski browband and bridle. Sizes are small pony, pony, cob, full and x-full. The leather comes in black, brown and tan. It cleans like a breeze, doesn't bleed it's dye. But must be cleaned frequently so it will last long like any bridle.
Dislikes: The loose keepers were too loose and need to be touching the sewn on keepers so they won't slide off. other than that, absolutely nothing.
Quality: I get noticed on trail rides alot and at the few shows I got to. Everyone asks me where I got it and they absolutely love it. It comes with a little back pack bag that I store it in so it won't get dusty or dirty. The browband came in a little bow which you must attach to the bridle manually, it protects the browband form getting scratched or ruined. The site contains brushes (with swarovski crystals embedded in them), all sorts of bridles, saddle pads and numnahs, miniature horse items, rugs (for horses), and key rings. But they keep adding new products to the pages. It gets a 10 out of 10. Two thumbs up by me. :)
Summary: I was very happy with my find on this product and will definitely be back on the site and buy more product, brushes, bridles, saddle pads, etc.
