Purchase: I bought these chaps at Congress for $80. I simply didn't have any yet and I liked the way they looked.
Likes: EVERYTHING! These chaps are extremely functional, breathable, sturdy, and attractive.
Dislikes: The snap at the bottom is a little bit hard to snap, but it's really not bad.
Quality: These chaps are SO durable. I have had them for about 2 years now, and I am ROUGH on them. I've thrown them around a lot, they've been stepped on and chewed on by horses, I've fallen off in them, I've trekked around in mud up to my neck in them ... And somehow, they still look just about new. The only sign of wear is the suede on the inside has worn smooth. But I like them better like this anyway, because I do dressage and move my leg around a lot, so it's easier to slide on smooth suede.
Summary: GREAT chaps! I am just about to buy another pair because my calves have gotten bigger and they're getting pretty tight. The only way I'll buy a different pair of chaps is if they stop making these!
