Purchase: I ordered these from Country Supply online for approximately $34.00. Other suppliers online have them a little cheaper sometimes, but I was ordering other products and got free shipping. This is the 3rd pair of these I have bought.
Likes: These boots are very comfortable after they are broken in, and the price is right! I bought the first pair for my daughter to show in 4H, and although they are considered English style, under western show chaps they worked just fine. Then I bought myself a pair to wear trail riding and around the barn. They are comfortable enough that I sometimes wear them to school to teach in. The soles have a lot of give and the arch fits my foot well.
Dislikes: They do wear out faster than real leather, but for the price, who cares? This is my second pair. My daughter's pair (used mainly for showing)is still usable after 2 years.
Quality: I think they are well-made, considering the quality of the materials, which is what makes them less expensive.
Summary: If you are looking for an inexpensive paddock boot for light use, or aren't sure you will like a paddock boot, this is a good one to try. Just be aware that it will not last as long (or cost as much) as a pair made of real leather. If your child is showing and outgrowing shoes every six months, this is a great buy.
