Purchase: I bought this bit off ValleyVet Website, paid 69.00. Got it for my TWH as I was having a lot of trouble getting her collected and on the bit.
Likes: I was using the Brenda Imus Comfort bit, and I think this is a good bit also, but my TW would not collect on it, and was always strung out over or under the bit. I also added a noseband as she kept opening her mouth and getting her tongue over the bit. She seems to go real well so far in the Villa bit, and now only after a week of using it she will drop into the bit and keep her head there. Also she was rather spooky when out alone. Keeping her collected with her topline rounded keeps her from "scanning" everything in sight for "spooks", and she pays better attention to my aids. She gaits well in this bit and as her collection habits improve I can work on speed.
Dislikes: Nothing to dislike so far
Quality: Very high quality, smooth, flexible, non - pinching components
Summary: I really like this bit and it is well worth the price. It is a mild bit and my mare likes the copper port. It keeps her mouth wet and responsive.
