Purchase: I bought these for about $99.99 from Dover Saddlery to replace my old pair of Ariat paddock boots.
Likes: They look nice new. That is it.
Dislikes: My old ariat paddock boots (also the Heritage line) lasted me for 5 years and still were going strong. They finally got holes in them so I decided to replace them. I bought a new pair and was so disappointed! The quality has gone WAY down since 5 years ago. I haven't even had these three months, and they are already dry and cracking, holes in the leather, the zippers are stiff and threatening to break, they just look awful. I use them and care for them just like I did the old pair, yet these can't seem to hold up. I don't even use them all that much!!!
I emailed Ariat to complain and heard NOTHING back from them. This isn't the first time I've complained...and still I hear nothing.
Quality: Terrible. Zipper is on the verge of breaking and gets stuck a lot. Leather dries, stiffens and cracks quickly. Just aweful.
Summary: I'm switching brands. Ariat has lowered their quality, and their lack of communication with me obviously means that they don't care.
