Purchase: I bought this saddle new with tags off of a private seller on Ebay. I paid $1060 with shipping.
Likes: I love the leather and the seat. Very high quality leather, the seat is slightly deep and very soft and secure. It puts me in the correct position. I think my horse is appreciating the fit also. I like that it has the adjustable gullet. I haven't tried to swap one yet, but it doesn't look like it will be a big deal.
Dislikes: So far, I don't have any complaints. The billets are stretching, but that is to be expected. The leather is very sensitive. My stirrup leathers are a bit rough and already made marks. Be careful using oil - I lightly oiled the underside of the flaps (I have the Caramel color) and had a dark bleed through. I guess you can't expect a new saddle to remain pristine if you are going to use it!
Quality: Very good construction as far as I can tell. There are Velcro leg panels under the flap, but they seem very secure. I did have to tighten the gullet screw when I first got the saddle. The previous owner had swapped it and didn't tighten the screw enough. It has remained tight every since.
Summary: I love this saddle! It is so comfortable to ride in. It makes posting without irons so much easier :) It fits my horse great and it is made of beautiful leather. I would highly recommend it.
