Purchase: I ordered this saddle through a local tack store, I paid $830.00.
Likes: I like the looks of the saddle, basketweave tooling, mahogany brown finish and contrasting black seat. I bought this saddle because it has a wide tree to fit my wide QH. It did fit him pretty well and he was never uncomfortable even on long rides.
Dislikes: The first saddle that was sent to me had a pretty obvious imperfection in the seat, it looked like a factory second. A second saddle was sent and looked great. The saddle seemed to balance a fit too far forward and I always felt like I was riding down hill in it. And it was very wide in the crotch area, making it quite uncomfortable for long trails.
Quality: The contruction is good and it has been very easy to care for. The leather is decent and the workmanship is very good. It is a beautiful saddle and I always get compliments on it when I ride.
Summary: This saddle was a good value for the money and fit my wide horse well. However I did not like the way I sat in it or how I felt after long hours on the trail in it. Still looking for the perfect trail saddle.
