Purchase: Out of what I'm about to list I'm purchasing the Pessoa A/O from Dover Saddlery for $1700
Likes: COLLIEGATE SENOIR CONVERTABLE EVENTER- I like the position it put me in & the color but that's about it.
ALL WINTEC ENGLISH- The only thing I like is Cair and easy change gullet.
PESSOA A/O- Love love love!! This is the saddle i bought and i love it perfect position. excel in flat work & over fences. Great leather. Makes 3-day Eventing a dream.
ANKY DRESSAGE- I'm not sure what the proper name is for it but its made of really textured leather. If i did not already own one dressage saddle id snag this on in a heart beat. Will be my next saddle purchase!
HDR SENOIR EVENT-almost bought VS the pessoa.
ALL DOVER CIRCIUT-very nice quality for the money. Preferred the pro out of all of them.
Dislikes: COLLIEGATE SENIOR CONVERTABLE EVENTER- This saddle scratches so easy! when picking it up off the rack I scratched it with my finger nail. Also the deepness of the seat makes pt. hard to achieve.
ALL WINTEC ENGLISH-These saddles are terrible! never buy! Built very poorly. Everyone i saw at Dover looked awful and were falling apart.
PESSOA A/O- Id like to see in more colors. Oakbark only looks good on so many.
ANKY DRESSAGE-nothing less than perfection
HDR SENOIR EVENT-very slick leather that was the only down fall.
ALL DOVER CIRCUIT-more colors please!
Quality: All saddles were very nice except the flaws i listed. PLEASE DO NOT BUY WINTEC! you will be disappointed
Summary: After my trip to Dover I was so grateful to see and test ride them all. Needless to say the ANKY,Pessoa,& Circuits are bottom line the best saddles out there.
