Purchase: After purchasing my first horse I bought it used, complete with matching accessories, from a local tack store for around $250.
Likes: It fit both me and my horse very nicely at the time. The colors are nice and very cute, I have pink, though not everyone agrees. The synthetic is easy to clean and the saddle seems durable. The suede seat makes it easy for someone who doesn't have the greatest seat to stay in the saddle even during a spook. It is very comfortable, even on long trail rides.
Dislikes: Dirt shows easily on the suede, which wouldn't be so bad it it wasn't difficult to clean. It takes over twice as long as a leather saddle and takes a full day to dry again. The pads in the stirrups tend to slip around and the material the fenders are made out of don't stay turned very easily, but if you ride correctly they are fine. It was necessary to add holes to the latigo as well. I also suppose it wouldn't look very good with accessories that weren't made to match.
Quality: It holds up well, I've had it for 2 1/2 years and except for some dirt and minor wear it looks brand new. The suede on the matching pad has a lot of wear from the latigo and cinch though.
Summary: It's a great saddle for someone just starting or for a trail rider who really doesn't need anything too fancy. It no longer fits me, but if I weren't showing I would buy a new one in a bigger size. For the price it's a good saddle.
