Purchase: I bought this saddle because honestly, im a shrimp, and i own a warmblood X welsh pony. I needed a good show saddle in a pony style to fit my pony. I went to doversaddlery.com, and found this saddle. It was 830 ish with shipping and tax.
Likes: I LOVE this saddle. The color is great, and it fits my pony SOOOO WELL! I used to use a used pessoa A/O that ate me and my pony up, and i also tried an HDR pony saddle. This is by far the most comfy. It broke in well, and supports me over my Small Pony Hunter courses, and even taller. My flatwork feels better in this saddle to. I even catch-rode my friends large pony hunter in some classes while she had the flu and it fit him well too!
Dislikes: Well, it squeaks a bit, but with more oiling its going away. Also, i wish it came in more sizes, because i know people who love my saddle, but need a 16 inch, because they ride ponies to.
Quality: This is very well built, and the leather is strong and high quality. The stitching is GREAT!
Summary: Best pony saddle period. Totally worth it for any hunter riders who ride ponys.
