Purchase: I bought this saddle used for $450 at Sierra Saddlery in Auburn, CA. I needed a wider saddle than my old one.
Likes: The leather is definitely good quality. It sits nicely on my horse and seems to have even pressure throughout the saddle. The wider tree frees up my horses shoulders much more than my older, more narrow saddle did and I can tell by his performance. Very comfortable seat. Knee rolls a little different than what I am used to, but I have already taken the saddle cross country jumping and no major issues.
Dislikes: I just haven't totally gotten used to the thin padding on the knee rolls yet. Definitely something I could get used to and not enough of an issue to make me want to get rid of the saddle.
Quality: Great leather, sits flat on the horses back, comfortable to sit in, stitching in good condition. I like the overall construction of the saddle.
Summary: I like this saddle and I plan on keeping it around for a while. :)
