Purchase: I bought this saddle from dover for $299. I needed a saddle to practice in, because i was beating my show saddle up, and wanted my Tolouse to stay nice.
Likes: I loved the price, and my friend had owned a Kincade bridle and liked it, so i thought, what the heck. It was an OK color.
Dislikes: can you say CHEAP? This saddle felt like a fish when i got it out of the box. I tried it out in my nice Ariat breeches, and the color RUINED them! It rubbed out all over, and it wont come out! The tree was HORRIBLY narrow, and pinched my poor mare. I had to use my Wintec half pad under it just to make her not kick out. It was hard as a rock too. On the flat, i was out of place. I tried jumping some small 2 foot jumps, and SWOOSH! I was out of my saddle 2 feet in the air! It had no support! I am a decent rider, and show and win in the local 3 foot hunter circuit, and no other saddle has just SWOOSHED me out of it! My legs were gripping with all their might, but it was slick as ice! I then stopped jumping in it, and used it on the flat. In two weeks, buh-bye to the stitching! It came out quick as lightning. I recently sold it to a local lesson place for $50 bucks, and they use it for there walking lessons. Even the trainer laughed at me when i told her i paid 300 for it. She told me i was extremely overcharged for a piece of crap.
Quality: Horribly made and designed. No quality to mention.
Summary: Save your 300 bucks. Buy a piece of cardboard. You'll have a better investment then!
