Purchase: I got this helmet as a birthday present from a friend. She rides, and knew i needed a new helmet. It retails at about 100 dollars, i think.
Likes: Well, its velvet, and has a dial fit system! It fits my head ok, and my sisters well. It has plenty of vents, and looks ok in the small show ring.
Dislikes: Well, the dial fit system is breaking off. I've had it a month! Also the dial system is VELCRO'D on. not very happy about that. It doesn't look good in show photos, and kinda looks cheap up close. I use a velvet helmet cover at large shows to not be embarrassed. It pinches my head, but i think a bigger size would do wonders. I wish that my friend had just given me a gift card to Dover, so i could get a Charles Owens JR8, IRH XR9, or a GPA instead of a schooling helmet.
Quality: This is well made, but the additions are cheaply attached.
Summary: This is a nice helmet for schooling/small shows, and lesson programs. Go for a Charles Owens or GPA for the show circuit though.
