Purchase: I bought this saddle because I needed a new one and after trying a few used and new saddles of all kids I settled on the Axcess. With stirrups and leather and a saddle pad I payed about $2,000 CND, new.
Likes: Everything! The first thing I loved was the colour (I got a dark havana. It has a deep comfortable seat and really clean soft leather. The flaps are long enough for me (which is problem when you have long legs) and it's also forward enough to allow me to shorten my stirrups. It also fits my horse very well. It's insanely comfortable.
Dislikes: The only thing was that the stitching on the back of the seat came loose at one end so it started falling apart. No one I talked to has seen this before so it was just a fluke. I took it back to the store and they sent it to Exselle, who were great about the error and returned it good as new in 2 weeks, with a free cooler as an apology for the trouble!
Quality: This saddle has amazing quality. Very comfortable and sturdy as well as a smart looking design. Even though mine did cause a bit of trouble that was just a crazy fluke and nothing serious at all. Exselle make amazing saddles!
Summary: I think this is one of the most comfortable saddles I've ever ridden in and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality and a fair price!
