Purchase: I bought my first pair of these socks through Smartpak.com for $8. I have since bought several more for the same price at my local tack shop.
Likes: Mostly, how tall they are. I'm on the taller side and most tall boot socks don't quite reach above the bump of my calf, and so they're constantly slipping down. These socks are very stretchy and go all the way up to my knee, which keeps them on. Also, they're very thin and comfortable in the summer. I also wear them comfortably in the winter with my Ariat winter tall boots. And of course they come in lots of fun patterns and colors.
Dislikes: The colors fade rather quickly, but this doesn't harm the quality, and they're still pretty bright even after they've faded some.
Quality: I have 5 pair of these socks and have had them for about 4 months. I ride 4-5 times a week, ALWAYS in them, and have yet to wear a pair out.
Summary: These are great socks. I can't ride without them!
