Purchase: I bought this bridle used off of someone for $20. I needed a schooling bridle.
Likes: The price. And .... that's about it.
Dislikes: The leather is pretty stiff, even after a couple years of use. The throat latch is ridiculously small, and hardly fits the 14.3 hh Morgan that I've been riding.
Quality: The leather is of poor quality. Obviously chemically tanned, versus vegetable oil. The buckles aren't particularly sturdy or easy to use. Most disappointing of all, the dye is painted on the surface and not only rubs off easily, but makes it near impossible to properly condition, which means it will never break in properly.
Summary: I am very disappointed with this purchase. I've learned not to buy cheap bridles! I would only recommend this bridle to someone who only rides occasionally and doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a bridle.
