Purchase: i paid $815 for this saddle on ebay. it's a one of a kind custom, i think their less ornate semicustoms go for a few bucks less.
Likes: everything! honestly if you saw this saddle, sat in it or roped off of it, you would think it cost around $3000. The leather quality is phenomenal, came with matching buckin rolls and wrapped horn. the seat is nicely angled, fits almost every horse i throw it on (except my little arab mare, but hey, can't expect it fit everything). The fleecing is thick, nice 7/8 montana rigging.
Dislikes: Overall the stirrups leathers could be a bit shorter, but that's more the fault of my short legs!
Quality: superb quality, especially for the price. Leather, hardware and assembly are all top notch. They are hand made by two guys in Virgina, but they're originally from Wyoming and man, do they know wade saddles! This saddle never sores up the horses and can hold anything you throw a loop on.
Summary: If you are in the market for a tough, comfy wade saddle with full QH bars, this saddle can't be beat, not for this price or almost any other price. Give JC Martin a try... I plan on buying again from them in the future.
