Purchase: I bought this saddle to use for the girls i give lessons to who don't own a saddle. I felt this would be a good saddle, because my Kincade bridle was a nice buy, and i didn't wont to spend a fortune on another lesson saddle. I already let them use my ancient pessoa and crosby, but i needed one more to allow more girls in a lesson. I paid 299 from a local tack store, hoping it would break in softer than it was.
Likes: I love the price, and that it wasn't synthetic, so i could possibly let some girls show in it and not be laughed at. It was a cute color, and fit all 5 lesson horses well with a lifter pad.
Dislikes: Well, the first girl to try it out, one of my better riders, flew off and landed in the ground over a small fence. I tried another girl in it, and she was all over the place on the flat, when normally she is a very quiet rider! Jumping was impossible in this saddle, and flatwork was embarrassing. The saddle never broke in, and had no grip on it. My poor lesson girls had to grip for their lived to jump over a small fence! I returned it to the tack store, where they wouldn't take it back because the stitching was coming undone! I had it a month!
Quality: Horribly quality, bad design. A piece of crap.
