Likes: I really like these boots. I had the SMB11's and disliked them because they were too bulky and slipped. I liked the idea of the elite's and decided to try them. I liked that they do not slip and are not bulky whatsoever. They are easier to put on than the SMB11's. I like that fact that they come in an assortment of colors. I use them every time I ride. I use them for both barrel racing and in hunter/jumpers.
Dislikes: I do not like how the suspensory strap has had some wear damage. I have not had them for very long, and the elastic on the right boot suspensory strap started to fray. I was surprised because the quality looked good upon first examination. I might have to buy another sports medicine boot, and I will definitely shop around before purchasing more elite's.
Quality: The quality is o.k. I would expect a little better quality for the price. The SMB11's did not fray like the elite's. The stitching is coming out on the suspensory strap and the elastic is getting stretched, and I only used them for about two months.
Summary: I would consider other brands before purchasing Professional's Choice Elite boots. The support is great and they do not make my horse's legs swell like the SMB11's. I put a lot of demand on the boots because I compete in barrel racing and also ride hunter/jumper's. But I would shop around before purchasing the elite's.
