Purchase: I bought this leather cleaner to polish up my tack before the first horse show of the year. It came in a 15 oz. jar for $8. It looked pretty nice.
Likes: So far I've used it once on my western saddle, and twice on my Stubben. It works very well, your saddle is clean and shiny and soft and supple after using this leather cleaner. It is a cream, so all you have to do is put a little on a sponge, and rub onto your saddle. How easy! Not at all like the mess of the spray saddle cleaners I used to get. I would recommend!
Dislikes: I don't really like the container that it comes in. It's very sturdy, but hard to open. I thought it was a screw on lid when I bought it, but when I got home it was really a lid that had to be opened by prying around the edges with a screw driver, and closed by hammering on the lid! However, this is just a minor inconvenience, not really something bad about the product.
Quality: The container holds up, but is hard to open. The leather cleaner and conditioner is fantastic! I will definitely buy again when this runs out!
Summary: I would highly recommend. It can be used on boots, saddles, bridles, leather clothes, and leather furniture. It doesn't darken leather, and cleans and supples even my driest boots. If you have dirty and dried out tack, this cleaner is the one to get.
