Purchase: I bought this saddle from E-bay for $350.00.
Likes: Absolutely nothing. Worst saddle I've ever laid my hands on. Wouldn't even put it on my horse.
Dislikes: Very cheap materials and workmanship. The underside would make a horse sore, and not conform to their back. Stirrup buckles on western fenders huge and would be very uncomfortable. The biggest problem though is I returned the saddle within 3 days of receiving it. They said I could return it, but to include a note with pertinent information so they could issue me a refund which I did. I made sure I sent saddle back with delivery confirmation. After I confirmed they received the saddle back, I contacted them for my refund. They gave me the run around. I contacted Paypal and made a complaint, where Hilason then tried to trick me to cancel the complaint. They claimed it froze their money so they couldn't issue me a refund without me canceling the complaint. After reading Paypal tutorial, that said once the complaint is cancelled it couldn't be escalated to a claim and to not do that until fully satisfied. So I had to make a claim against them that I then won and finally got my refund several weeks later. Very bad dishonest company selling inferior products. Don't buy from them!
Quality: Cheap leather and materials. The top cover wouldn't stay on. Stirrups leathers very cheap. Large cheap stirrup buckles. Unsafe!
Summary: I just want to warn anyone out there considering buy a saddle from Hilason, to beware! They are not professional, ethical, or care about customer satisfaction. I believe they are just interested in selling as many of their cheap saddles as possible and it's all about the money. They won't survive with these tactics for very long.
