Purchase: I bought this pad (barely) used for about $20. New, they run around $45. I am a saddle pad junkie, so couldn't resist this one when I saw it.
Likes: I love the way it is made. The underside is a nice flannel, and the top is a tough twill. Mine has ribbon trim, but I've seen them with embroidery, too. That is half the fun with these pads - so many to pick from. The billet straps are also quite sturdy and well placed.
Dislikes: Nothing!
Quality: This pad is well made. It holds up to washing well, and dirt and spots release from it easily with a little Shout. The underside doesn't collect hair either, even during shedding season. It shows no wear from my saddle/girth and stays put under my saddle. I also appreciate that it stays put under my saddle without slipping.
Summary: Life is too short not to have some fun with your saddle pads :) Equine Couture is a great way to have fun, interesting pads.
