Purchase: I bought these boots for $75 at a local horse expo. The had a large booth selling all colors of the boot. The man working there was very educated about the product and gave me a demonstration. As I was debating whether to buy them, a lady came up to me and told me they were the best boots she had ever bought for her horse.
Likes: I really like the new design of the boot. It is made of stretchy neoprene and has small unnoticeable holes that keep the horse's legs cool and dry. Also, the boot has a pad on the inside of it that fits into the groove on the inside of the legs between the inner and outer splint bone(on the lower leg. They are also very light-weight. they don't seem to bother the horse either. Lastly, the boots will fit nearly any horse and fit both front and back legs, so you don't have to buy four boots but only two.
Dislikes: I don't like that on the inside of the boot there is a lot of velcro where you attach the two sides of the boot. You would think it would be helpful, but it is actually kind of annoying. As you pull one side of the boot over, it is hard to get your fingers out without the velcro touching something. This can cause the boot so sag if it isn't tight enough around the leg.
Quality: the construction is phenomenal. When the boot is put on properly, the horse can do his job and you don't have to worry about putting to much stress on their legs. They boots also have a stitching on them that show where the boot should be attached on an average horse so you know if it is too loose or tight. Mine don't have a single rip or tear or anything on them. Lastly, they are machine washable. Also, they come in many patterns and colors.
Summary: Overall, if you know how to put the boot on properly and want a pair of boots that are high quality and will last a long time, then go for it and buy some Pegasus Air Boots.
