Purchase: I was at Horse Expo...my daughter and I looked all day long at all the saddles. We needed to find a Barrel Saddle for our hard to fit Pal/Paint. Our horse is wide in front and short backed. We had tried 6 saddles and none had fit him. Some even caused sores and rub marks. After almost giving up we came upon a man selling Rocking R Saddles with a round skirt. He had one that not only fit our horse wonderfully, with no more sore rubbed back on our horse, it also fit the rider more comfortable than any saddle she had tried.
Likes: The Seat is comfortable, it looks great and the horse is happy again! I also loved the price, very affordable. I can not say enough about this saddle. Try it and you will not be disappointed.
Dislikes: Nothing...at all. Only that I did not know about this saddle before I tried the 6 I had bought and borrowed.
Quality: When you put it on the horse the tree is not pinching and the back of the saddle is curved up sightly not digging into our horses back like the other saddles did. The saddles are made one by one, not an assembly line made.
Summary: I would HIGHLY suggest you try a Rocking R Saddle before you try any other saddles. I would have saved a lot of money and headaches if I had known about them before I bought all the other saddles I have tried.
