Purchase: My young horse was on stall rest for 3mos. and slowly destroying his stall. I went to the local Agway and saw these on the shelf $20 and thought what the heck! this might keep him occupied. Keep him occupied!!???? This happened in Aug. 07 and I have no idea how many I have gone thru. I hang 2 now any flavor at a time. As soon as I put a new one up he is right there gnawing and having a grand time.
Likes: EVERTHING It was fun watching him play w/ the 1st one but when I got the 2nd and hung it between stalls, it got positively engrossing!. Between 3 horses batting it around and around trying to get at it, well they don't get bored! Once I got a system rigged up all I have to do is remove the leftover string attachment and voila hang another on the snap. EASY And the flavor variety is nice I can mix it up. and lasts oh about a month
Dislikes: Don't hang it in the sun it gets gooey and the flies like it also. Yeah the horse gets goo on his face but he also likes to have his face scrubbed clean. Kinda like a kid eating ice-cream. So, I guess that means I have no complaints!! Absolutely LOVE it
Quality: NO complaints holds up v. well with the abuse that 3 horses give it and they bang it around!. I have it hanging about 2-3" from the top of my 5' high stall dividers.
Summary: Well, I haven't a clue how many I have purchased but I keep getting them 2 at a time! Good for the horses and a good laugh for me watching them
