Purchase: I purchased this saddle at Saxonburg Saddle and Cattle which went out of business. I like this saddle so much that I bought another one. The only places I can find this model is at Pelham Saddlery and Saddles R Us. I paid 725.00.
Likes: My daughter's horse is a show jumper and pulled her loin muscles out. During her recuperation the only saddle she would tolerate was a french style saddle...ie wide uniform gullet and wide flat panels. But even a used french style saddle can run at least 2500.00. I happened upon this saddle by chance looking in a store that usually only carried a few saddles. As soon as I saw it I thought for sure it would work. I had never heard of the saddles before and at the time it was marketed under Intec brand. I did some research and found that that saddle was modeled after a french saddle. My daughter's horse has never worn anything else since. Its been three years and the saddle is holding up really well. I've used it on other horses as well with great results.
Dislikes: The only drawback in the beginning was the leather is really stiff. With lots of TLC and olive oil it came around rather quickly.
Quality: We've had no problems with the saddle and the quality is quite good once the leather is worn in. We also got the medium tree which fits more like a med-wide. The seat of the saddle is padded and very comfortable to ride in even for a long trail ride.
Summary: Anyone with a problem backed horse and can't afford the big dollar saddles, I hightly recommend this one.
