Purchase: I wanted to try an Antares so I got a demo saddle on trial from Antares in NJ. I loved the demo and ordered a new saddle. They did a custom fit based on digital pictures I sent of my horse and saddle. I got a medium tree for my TB and they configured the panels to fit him perfectly.
Likes: This is a "magic" saddle. It puts me in the perfect balance and has great "stickability". I use it for both stadium and cross country and it is great for both phases.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike about this saddle.
Quality: Leather and craftsmanship are outstanding. Very comfy seat with perfectly placed knee and thigh blocks. The medium tree fits my TB perfectly (they added a bit of extra foam around the wither).
Summary: I would highly recommend this saddle to anyone who does serious jumping, either show jumping or cross country. It's an expensive saddle but a great investment. Also, Antares gives great customer service.
