Purchase: We paid 99.00 for each of our three pair of Qwik-Out stirrups.
Likes: At first, we like the fact that they were discreet looking. Safety w/o anyone knowing. Great for the show ring.
Dislikes: They didn't open when my friend was thrown from her horse. The only reason she wasn't dragged to her death is the simple fact that her foot broke off.
Quality: They heavy weight of the stirrup probably helped in snapping my friends foot off, thus saving her life.
Summary: It spent five years in the courts, but my friend won her lawsuit. Bottom line: She could have died due to their faulty design. She had them attached properly. Believe me, their lawyers tried everything they could to somehow make it her fault. In the end, she was awarded a settlement which has been set aside to help pay for her future ankle replacement down the road.
