Purchase: I bought a pair from Dover Saddlery and paid about $30 plus shipping.
Likes: Not much, they are low-maintenance and were really cheap.
Dislikes: To start of with they look cheap. They don't breathe at all and are hard to get on/off. There is little padding for the foot so after about ten minutes the iron start making my feet hurt. They squeak against my saddle, which could spook a green horse. They are stiff and stay stiff so everything is difficult in them. They provide little to no grip against my saddle as well.
Quality: They are durable, other than that there is nothing good to say. As mentioned above they are stiff.
Summary: I have no plans to buy them again. I suppose if you hardly ever rode and were looking for something chap they wouldn't be terrible, but I wouldn't buy them even then.
