Genisis Deluxe CS Biomex Saddle
Jumping Saddles

Manufacturer: Stubben
Model: Genisis Deluxe CS Biomex Saddle
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: Recently I was at Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio and saw the Stubben Biomex saddles. They claimed that their biomex seat would help with back pain, so I decided to try it. When I took the saddle home and rode in it I was so happy that while riding and after riding my back was PAIN FREE, and my horse acted much different then he did in my other saddle. I purchased this saddle at Valley Tack Shop and paid $2300.00 (if you suffer from back pain during or after riding it is worth the money). Even though it is different from the brands used in my horse's circuit (Quarter Horse), I love it so much and the color is "in" in the show ring.

Likes: This saddle sold me when I was pain free!!! I love the softness of the leather and it fit my horse wonderfully (32cm tree). It fit my horse so well that he did not behave in his usual "speed racer" way that he has with numerous other english saddles. The color is awesome also. The color that I chose was the Tobacc, it looks wonderful on any color horse. This saddle is so comfortable that all I want to do is ride english, which is unusual for me since I usually ride western until show day. The flaps on the saddle also offer optimal communication with the horse, it is WONDERFULL.

Dislikes: The only thing that I do not like about this saddle is how much the flaps rub. The german cowhide leather rubs a lot even though it costs more.

Quality: The stitching on this saddle is wonderful, especially for being handmade, it is almost perfect. The flocking on the saddle is wonderful also since it is wool to absorb the horse's sweat and form to the horse's back. The back of the saddle also has a gold color Stubben brand on the back that looks so rich.

Summary: If anyone is experiencing back pain I would spend the extra money because it really works. The fit and performance for both the horse and the rider is excellent and I know that Stubben makes a quality product because my trainer has a Stubben from before 1968 that is still in perfect condition.
