Purchase: These boots were a christmas gift so I don't know the price. I do know that my mom didn't pay full price for them. I found a place online that sells them for $115.00.
Likes: Basically these boots rock. The farm where is underwater after every rainstorm so good, durable, and waterproof boots are a must. These would be them. I wore them all through the winter and never got frozen toes. In the summer I was teaching camp with a bunch of 6-11 year olds (it's like herding cats) and these functioned as great leather tennis shoes. I think that these boots are the comfiest one I have ever used. After the initial break in period, they were molded to my feet. Other people would borrow my boots and say they weren't very comfortable. And that's because they were molded to my feet and my feet only.
Dislikes: The first week in these boots is torture. I mean blisters and everything. I recommend breaking these in on the ground for a week before getting in the saddle because that whole first week I was riding without stirrups.
Quality: These boots are made tough. I look at most of the paddock boots in catalogs and none look as durable as these boots. They are made out of really thick leather that looks like it could withstand a chainsaw (This is me exaggerating) But they have lasted very well and i haven't been nice to them.
Summary: Western people know their boots. I would say these are certainly worth buying even if you don't ride western because boots are boots and these happen to be amazing.
