Purchase: After I finally accepted the fact that my 30 year old all purpose saddle just wasn't going to cut it anymore, i bought my Pessoa A/O at the local tack shop for 900 dollars.
Likes: The leather is very comfortable to ride in, and durable at the same time. The tree is very well made and fits most horses very well for it's price. It has a nice color once oiled as it darkens to a nice reddish brown.
Dislikes: One thing I didnt love about the Pessoa was the way it fit my leg. The flaps are not well suited for someone with longer legs, however if the rider had shorter legs it would probably fit a lot better.
Quality: The overall quality of this saddle was, in my opinion, was very good for it's price. It's no fancy French saddle, that's for sure, but if you want a quality saddle that is comfortable and durable, the Pessoa is a good choice.
Summary: The Pessoa A/O would be a great saddle for a rider who wants an a well crafted, affordable saddle. It's a great saddle for both hacking and jumping, so i would definitely recommend this saddle.
