Purchase: For Christmas I received a pair of half chaps that were to tall, and barely fit over my calf. I took them back and got the tredstep half chaps at a local tack store for about $110. These are the best half chaps, and I know i made no mistake in getting them!
Likes: At my local tack store there were various size that helped me because of my big calf, and short leg. I have owned them for about a year, and trust me they go through some rough stuff. They are still in good condition even though i ride many horses and bathe horses in them sometimes. They are certainly they best, and i will get another pair next time.
Dislikes: The only problem with them that I occasionally have is that the snap on the bottom of the zipper get stuck, and can be hard to pull. Other than that the have survived all the wear and tear I put them through very well.
Quality: The half chaps are constructed well. They stretch snugly over your calf for a good grip. They are not falling apart, and are a quality item to invest in.
Summary: These are the best, you must try a pair! They will last for a while, and have a large size selection for everyone. They are easy to get on and don't give you rubs. Make sure during the next trip to the tack store you buy a pair!
