Purchase: I purchased this saddle used on Ebay for $110 Canadian. I have the 17" Medium tree. I bought it for a throroughbred horse that was an ex-jumper. I'm schooling him for dressage and wanted a saddle to get started with.
Likes: Price is great, even new these saddles are not expensive. Comfort is also a factor, I find the saddle incredibly comfortable and easy to ride in. The adjustable knee rolls are great for helping with leg position. Since I brought the saddle to my barn, 3 other women have gotten one for themselves. It is an excellent saddle to start out with.
Dislikes: I do find the tree a little narrow, even on my narrow withered thoroughbred I had to use riser pads to keep the saddle from being too tight on his shoulders.
Quality: My saddle was used when I bought it, although in perfect condition. For a synthetic dressage saddle it is a decent quality, construction is excellent. It's extremely lightweight and easy to clean.
Summary: An excellent saddle for someone looking to get started in dressage that doesn't want to invest in a top of the line saddle right away. It may not be right for someone in serious competition, but I'm at the point where I'm just learning dressage and it is perfect.
