Purchase: I purchased this boot from State Line Tack for $134.99 (free shipping).
Likes: Ariat boots are always very comfortable, and do not take a lot of time to break in. They fit very nicely and I didn't need to do anything in particular to break them in, I just started riding in them and they were extremely comfortable and easy to ride in.
Dislikes: These boots are not at all as durable as I anticipated. It was very disappointing that after a year of use, they have broken down so much. I contacted customer service about it and basically they told me that they would not do anything unless the product was deemed defective.
Quality: I have owned many Ariat products, and I was extremely disappointed that the quality of the leather has deteriorated as it had. I used these boots everyday for about a year, and the leather is completely cracked on the sides, leaving holes all over where the boot generally creases.
Summary: Overall, I was very disappointed by this boot. It was comfortable while it lasted, but that does not make up for the fact that it hardly lasted at all. I would not recommend this boot to anyone, as it was just completely not worth that much money for a product that only lasted a year. I'm very upset by this!!
