Purchase: I bought these boots new on Ebay for $35. From stores, I believe they cost around $95.
Likes: They were completely waterproof and kept my feet warm during the winter.
Dislikes: They only come in full sizes, and I think they ran big. I wear a 9 so I ordered the 9-9 1/2, and my feet flopped around in them. I think this had to do with the fact that they were pull on. Well, after about 3 hours wearing them, my heels were rubbed raw from them flopping around when i walked.
Also, they were HOT. I could only wear them through the winter, or else my feet would sweat like crazy. I was trying to prevent ruining my Ariats with urine and manure, but it didn't end up helping.
I probably wore them around two weeks before I got fed up with them rubbing. They also got a lot of scuffs on them, which didn't come out with scrubbing and water. They did end up fading when i used Armor All though.
Quality: They were waterproof rubber at the bottom with well constructed treads, and the top was some type of neoprene or foam, which was also apparently waterproof. I didn't wear them long enough to see if the rubber and neoprene separated.
Summary: They really aren't worth the money to buy them unless you get a really good deal. Make sure they fit very well and you wear thick socks while working in them. Its better just to buy a separate pair of paddock boots to work in, or wear leather work boots.
