Purchase: I have bought these in cases of 18 for $17 to have on hand for leg wounds and tail wraps.
Likes: I liked that it was available in large cases and was cheaper than vetwrap or coflex.
Dislikes: I don't like the product. It is thinner than coflex and vetwrap. It is also less stretchy, which means that it comes loose easier. It tears more easily, and because of all of this I find that I need to use two rolls for any leg wounds, which means I actually spend MORE money. I could pay $1.29 per roll of vetwrap through horse.com, or pay 99 cents but use two rolls! It comes loose quickly and usually has to be replaced in 12 hours or less.
Quality: lightweight, thin, not stretchy, tears easily. Not really good for bandages. I can't get it to stay on tails.
Summary: Coflex is thicker and not as stretchy as vetwrap, but either works equally well in my book. However, stay clear of Syrvet. The few cents cheaper just isn't worth it when trying to keep a wound clean.
