Close Contact Saddles
Manufacturer: Crosby
Model: Prix de Nations
Category: Close Contact Saddles
Purchase: I paid 400 for an older model of this saddle at a consignment shop. I needed a new hunter/jumper saddle to slow down the wear of my brand-new barely used Hermes. a lot of girls at my barn rode in old crosbys and loved them.
Likes: Everything! It puts me in a great position, and has no extra padding to prevent me from feeling my horse under me! I school in it, and its holding up very well! It fits my TB jumper very well, but still fits my TB hunter build horse too. I've jumper 4'+ in this saddle and still feel supported.
Dislikes: Well, it is a jumper saddle, so the flap is a smidge more forward then i'd like for flatwork.
Quality: Great quality for its age, and well constructed in england.
Summary: A great buy, wonderful jumping saddle.
