Purchase: I ordered these from State line Tack's website in April 2008 when they were on sale for 55% off, so I paid $69.99 for the half chaps and $14.00 a piece for the changers.
Likes: These are so flashy! I love being able to change the look. The leather is great quality and they are working themselves in nicely, as far as stretching to fit my calf.
Dislikes: The only problem I have had with these is that the snap on each chap at the bottom of the chaps broke after about 6 wears. They were so tight that they would not come apart, and when I was finally able to pull them apart, they broke. It was cheaper for me to take them to a shoe repair store than to ship them back. It only took the shoe repair man 2 minutes to repair them and he had a heck of a time prying the snaps apart with his tool.
Quality: They're high quality leather and I haven't noticed any stitching coming apart.
Summary: These are great chaps for less than half price, but I would have been MAD if I had paid full price and had them break on me.
