Purchase: I was on the search for a nice bit that i could use to supple up a horse, and make him salivate more. I looked at fleet farm, didn't see one i needed to have, looked at pleasant hills tack shop and found this. It was only $15.
Likes: I really like this partly because it matches the dark hardware on my nylon tack. But it also has copper inlay which is nice since your horse can have a better experience with the bit if they salivate more. Everything's nice a smooth, Very easy on your horses mouth and easy to keep clean. After i ride with this i swipe a rag over it and it still looks brand new.
Dislikes: The middle jointed part is kind of big. If you were to put this bit with heavy hands I'm sure the middle would pinch the tongue. otherwise there's nothing i don't like about it.
Quality: It has very nice Black satin metal. Very nice quality, and the copper inlay adds a very nice touch.
Summary: Bottom line its a great bit. All my horses accept it fine, nice quality, looks good enough to show in even. i would suggest this bit to anyone not wanting to put extreme bits in.
