Purchase: I bought this saddle from the Dixieland Gaited Saddle web site. I paid about 900 dollars for it new.
Likes: Quality is great and nice looking. The options available are incredible. I was amazed that it can conform to the horses back so well. I had it sitting on a square stand and it actually squared off. Didn't do that again. You also don't have the saddle slip which tells me that it definitely fits. I had purchased the endurance stirrups and don't care for them for me yet my husband loves them.
Dislikes: It is a bit heavier than I would like yet I think you have to sacrifice that for the quality. I can't think of anything else I could say that is negative. Very nice product.
Quality: Construction is top of the line. A+ quality.
Summary: I am going to buy another one soon as I can fund it. I have a light weight synthetic saddle that I will replace. It doesn't fit at all. I can say that it takes about 6 months for them to make it which is frustrating yet good things are worth waiting for.
