Purchase: I bought these pads on ebay from a private seller for $5. They retail at most tack shops for $16.95.
Likes: They really make putting your heels down so much easier. You really feel the stretch. I could never achieve that before no matter how hard I tried to jam my heels down. They also improved my ability to jump so much. Before i couldn't balance and I fell all over my horses neck trying to keep upright. And I was constantly loosing my stirrups. This was over cross rails less than a foot high. Pitiful right? But these pads changed all of that. I have perfect balance and I can use my hands independently of my body. And my feet stay in my stirrups where they belong.
Dislikes: The first time I rode in them was spent just getting used to them and all of the stretching. But it's just like stretching any other muscle, it takes some time.
Quality: These pads are constructed of rubber with tread running lengthwise.
Summary: I would recommend this product to anyone having trouble with heels or with jumping. They make a huge difference. In fact you better hurry up and get yours before the company realizes they have a miracle product on their hands and jacks up the price.
