Purchase: I purchased this unit from Crazyhorse Tack store on the web. I paid around $900 for the saddle and it came with a matching $100 headstall.
Likes: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Very nice saddle for the money. Fits my horse well and is quality made. Very comfy for someone who doesn't ride english much. Puts me in the correct position and makes it enjoyable to ride. My trainer also loves this saddle and I will be using it for the QH circuit.
Dislikes: There was a small amount of wear under the one leather when I was done riding in it, but I guess that is what you get when you ride for almost 3 hours. Nothing that a little polish won't repair.
Quality: Very well made!! No complaints yet.
Summary: Excellent saddle for the money. My trainer wanted me to get a graduate, but I couldn't find a nice used one, so I opted for the finalist. I believe collegiate made this saddle to replace its graduate. Rides very well and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is an odd color though so you'll have to take it to a local tack shop to get leathers and such for it. Very nice saddle!!
