Purchase: I paid $2000 for this saddle from a tack store. It was used, and i needed a new saddle. I had heard VERY HIGHLY about these saddle, so i decided to try it.
Likes: It was super comfy, and i loved the leather! It must have been quite lovely new, but i never did see it that way.
Dislikes: Well, i have also ridden in Devoucoux and Antares saddles, and i seem to like this the least, but maybe because the other saddles were custom fit for the horses i rode them in. The billets were a smidge short, and its quite hard to find a 56 girth so that the billets fit. It seems to be wearing a lot more than the Devacoux/Antares i have ridden in would, but then again, I have NO idea what the previous owner did to it.
Quality: Very well constructed and French (AKA wonderful) quality.
Summary: A nice saddle, but i would also look into other brands before you purchase.
